James E. Blaugrund, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Blaugrund received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, graduation with honors.  His residency in otolaryngology was completed at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. 

Dr. Blaugrund completed a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery and Laryngology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital prior to joining the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Blaugrund was subsequently appointed as the Director of the Voice Center. 

Dr. Blaugrund joined Metropolitan Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in 2001. 

Dr. Blaugrund serves as Chief of the Division of Otolaryngology at Allegheny General Hospital.
